about tsii
I've been into music since I was kid. I used to play a lot of Sonic the Hedgehog on my Sega Genesis and I would often just listen to the sound track. As I got older I started listening to whatever caught my ear. HipHop, Rock, Electronic, Orchestral, Jazz...anything really lol. One of my favorite music producers is Danger Mouse.
My creative process for lofi HipHop is mostly just listening to samples and seeing what catches my attention. When find the samples I want use, I'll chop them up and add a drum pattern to go with it. I'll make a bass line with midi if I don't find a sampled bass I want to use. Then I add what effects I want to use followed by mixing and mastering the track.
An average day for me working my day job then coming home to wind down. I'll usually either play some video games, watch some anime, or work on beats. I also make music for t.v. licensing. I'm kind of a hermit lol.
My advice for anyone just starting out would be to have fun and keep creating. Also try not to compare your success to other artists.
