about north takoda
Are you currently working on a project, like an EP or track?
I actually just did my travels ep, but i have a lot of collabs coming up with friends and some singles i’m working on!
What do you love most about being part of Dream Easy?
I love the people the most in Dream Easy, everyone is so funny and supportive and nice and I appreciate it.
What &/ who inspired you to create music?
I was already playing a lot of instruments like trumpet and drum set and stuff, so that and a lot of electronic music that I have listened to through high school, like kaytra, san holo, odesza, and a lot of people I had found through the Majestic Casual youtube page really made me interested in producing electronic stuff :)
How is your creative process like?
My creative process is kind of random; I’ll think of chords or a melody first but everything after that is not very planned... I guess I do my drums and bass last a lot!
What's an average day like for you?
An average day involves homework, school/class, going to the gym and tennis practice, jazz class and music. I don’t get a lot of time with music honestly, so when I do get to sit down and create something, I’m usually working for hours.
What advice would you give someone following in your footsteps?
The only advice I can give is to keep making what sounds good to you and to play around with genres and style. Also, keep making stuff even if you never release it :)
